    That would defeat the purpose of a shill.

    I don't even think it's a shill. I think someone is just screwing around with the guy's auction. There's not one real bid so any shill would be useless.

    I thought a shill bid was where the seller puts in or has someone else put in fake bids to insure his card does not sell for too little. I'm confused at how this would be a shill bid if someone is saying that the seller should block the high bidder after canceling their bid.

    It doesn't look like shilling to me. It looks like children are bidding and most likely will never pay.

    The same card apparently has "sold" twice. In the completed listings it sold for $800 & $899.

    Muggs, I want to give this guy the benefit of the doubt - I think that he thinks you are the guy who messed with his auction lol!

    Anyway, I just have a feeling that with 6 or 7 different 0 feedback bidders someone is messing with the guy - for what reason I don't know.

    Looks to me like the seller was running up his own auction with 2 accounts, you dont see it as often as just shilling but it does happen.

    I'm sorry to get off topic here but I was trying to check the pop report and I was having a difficult time trying to figure out what the pop total for my card is.

    At first glance I figured it was the card listed with 16 as the pop report but yours is a PSA 8 and not a PSA 7.

    If you scroll down a few there is a scoring leader with a pop of 5 with a PSA 8 in it. Perhaps this is it. I suspect a lot of these are in blue flips.

    WOW is that a nice looking 8!
    From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.
