What's with all the multiple posts from 'ajaan'?

I've dealt with Don in the past and found him to be a great guy, but how come no one's mentioned three multiple posts 'ttt'd' today?

If this was from a newbie, we'd be all over him.

How come the double standard?

At least his multiple threads contain coins for sale, whereas yours contains only criticism of another member.

(Hm. Irony in that last sentence was unintended. Anyway, with all due respect, I don't think it's that big a deal. If this were a livelier joint and he was burying all of the rest of our stuff, then maybe we would hold his feet to the fire.)

Don is a super longtime original Darksider and we used to sell stuff right on the Darkside forum before there was this one. He is having to sell off most of his holdings.

With all due respect to you (and OK, you do have a point, but I see no need to drive it home), I say cut him some slack.

As I said in my first post, I've had nothing but pleasant dealings with Don.

On the Liteside this would have already devolved into a major flame war and the hand grenades and RPGs would be coming out, and we'd be up to at least eighty, if not a hundred replies already.

Kinda sux that it's been Tumbleweed City around here these days. I miss Askari and TBirde56 and Aethelred and Newbiecollector and many more. *sigh*

I don't think anyone minds when someone TTT's posts once a day, I think even among the heathen collectors on the light side that's kosher.

Don had three running, which is what roused his ire, I believe. Don has since edited them.

It's kind of hard not to have multiple threads on Page 1 over here, where things sink a bit more slowly. That's why I don't always come back here to TTT my own BST thread, as long as it's somewhere visible on the front page. It can be a while before something sinks out of sight.

On the main Liteside BST, though, you can go eat a sandwich and find your thread halfway down the page before you know it.

Which is why I don't think it's that big a deal here, at least until things pick up a bit, which I hope they will.

Heck, there are 5-6 DAYS worth of posts on the first page as I type this...1/28/12-2/2/12. It would be hard to NOT have more than one post if actively selling, and when listing diverse lots separate threads are useful for those 'shopping' and I don't think that is a faux pas over here.

LordM even sends sharky teeth with coin purchases - my son loves sharks and really appreciated the unexpected tooth.

And frankly I didn't have a problem with a fungus among us posting more than one post for sale items - here it is a bit less busy and it splits stuff out so you don't have to wind your way down a thread.
