You Just Never Know What Bargain You Will Find on eBay

I stumbled across this ad while doing a search for 55 DDO's.
Opening bid was $3 with no bids and a couple of hours to go. Figured what the heck.
The ad described it as Authentic U.S. Wheat Penny Die. 1959
If those two Lincolns turn out to be 1959 wheat pennies, I got a great bargain.
Looks like a fun paper weight for my $8.

<< <i>Cool piece. Are you going to pop out the wheat back and see if it is dated 1959? >>
I'm sure that the wheatie is a 59 so I don't want to damage such a valuable coin.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
<< <i>I got a nickel die like that years ago... Maybe the mid 90's. It was $15-20 and from a Sunday paper ad if I recall. It came with a glass dome, too. >>
The description says this one also has the glass dome included.

<< <i>Old mint dies are really neat. Does your die have any of the design remaining? >>
Nary a bit.
I tried to post another pic from the seller showing the die. The image keeps coming up about the size of a postage stamp no matter what I try.
