Sometimes collecting a set can be frustrating.

I've been working on a raw 2004 Topps Cracker Jack Master set for about 3 years now.
Two of the toughest cards in the set are Group A relics of Mussina and Schilling. Both showed up on Ebay this week and ended tonight.

I've never seen the Schilling, and I've only ever seen 2 of the Mussina cards. If I did the math correctly, there should be around 150 of each relic card out there.
I set (I thought) solid snipes of around $75 each, hoping to score one of them. Nope; snipes didn't even go off. I'm a little frustrated. Not sure if I'll ever finish this monster.

Wow - I didn't know any relics from that set would go for that kind of money!

Good luck in the future. I started that set back in 04 and didn't get very far. Heritage took all my dough that year.

wow, those are unbelievable prices. I finished up the base, stickers and minis, but like Mike said, most of my dough that year went into Heritage. That was the first year I caught the Heritage bug, and I went after that set hard.
