Ebay Question

I recently added a 1911 T201 Mecca Double Folders Ty Cobb and Sam Crawford PSA 5 to my watch list on Ebay. Today I was cleaning up my ended list and saw that the card had 24 bids and a winning bid of $801.00 ending yesterday (the 29th). I then noticed that the exact same card has been relisted by the original seller with a BIN price of $1,750. I am fairly new to ebay and this seems odd to me. Any thoughts on how this could happen?

    They weren't happy with their price and shilled the auction and mutually canceled with themself.

    Or, he reneged on the 'buyer' and chose the BIN route.

    Or the 'buyer' reneged and the seller is now using the BIN.
