1973-D Lincoln Cent Error... what happened here?

It looks like a small double-strike that's visible only on the obverse, and there's a wavy seam going around the edge. Any ideas what happened?

    Kewl! A partial brockage. The coin was struck with a previously struck coin overlapping it a bit. Also, the collar was depressed, causing part of this coin to be above the collar and expand outwards. That aspect is called a partial collar strike.
