    Seller responded to my email with the following.

    "I have no information about the card, I bought several fire damaged cards at a yard sale. I hesitated to get this one because of the condition,but hey,its a Babe Ruth so I bought it. Hope this helps."

    Also he posted a scan of the back of the card.

    That "FIRE" was probably one of the most interesting fires ever. Take a look at the card's reverse. The fire STOPPED on all four sides before it damaged ANY of the letters. LMFAO!
