I love the looks of the 5 and 10 oz bars although I have no experience with this manufacturer. Any thoughts? MJ

Are they new to the manufacturing game? I have just recently noticed them listed on APMEX. Never saw them at a B&M or show (at least not yet).

Very clean design with a little olde english style thrown in. I wonder why there is no assay cert with them?

platinum is already not all that liquid -- certainly when compared to gold or silver. doesn't make sense to compound the problem by purchasing a bar no one has ever heard of.

this from the FAQ portion of their site

How do I know that my coins and bars are genuine?
We have over forty years experience in coin dealing, and inspect every coin before it is sent out to ensure that it is genuine. We also conduct regular spot checks on our manufacturing process to ensure the quality of our bars. Although we don't provide certificates of authenticity as we believe them to be of limited value, every bar is stamped with the metal quality and the weight, and gold bars of 100 grams and above are also stamped with serial numbers so that they can be easily identified. Fake items can generally be spotted by a keen eye, as the weight or dimensions of the item will be inconsistent, and there are several assay offices located in the UK where items can be taken and independently tested for purity for a minimal fee.

    Yep, they are Britishimage

Translation- We know what we are doing. We've been doing it for along time. If you are to dumb not be able to tell they are real then piss off and take them to somebody who bloody well can. Cheers.

Hopefully buyers of $8,000 and $16,000 metal bars know a little about telling chit from chinola.

Needless to say, they're going to be less liquid than something smaller and more recognizable. Hopefully, one doesn't need back out of these bars in a hurry, at the time and place of their choosing, but rather can afford to sell them to the narrower subset of buyers in the market for large, but second- or third- tier name bullion
