A Couple of Cards You Don't See Signed Very Often

Here are a pair of cards that you don't see signed very often as Mike Piazza has been a very tough signature to get. Fortunately, Piazza made a rare appearance at the White Plains Show last week. I just got these back today:

WTG Don ... amazing how much he gets for his 'graph!
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Yeah, but you know me! LOL.

I'm sure he had quite a bit of pent up demand for his signature as it has been impossible to get up to this point.

Very nice Don, I saw the signing just couldn't justify spending that kind of money on Piazza. He will need to get his back room fees below $100 before I add him to my auto RC collection. Congrats again!

Very nice cards! I love them but I am with Matt on his prices. Piazza should be around for a very long time. I'll probably be gone before he is LOL

I thought I saw in another post about someone getting Piazza autograph I think he has starting sign when in
the past you were SOL even asking him for his autograph. Get them and flip them before the price go down on
them and then get yourself one cheaper.

Cool video, I think its very interesting how he is most comfortable standing when he is signing.

I agree, I also like it. It seems like your more active with the collector /auto seeker. Props to Mr Piazza.

Is Mike Piazza even likely to make it into the HOF? Seems like about double what he should be charging.

I would think he is a lock HOFer. He is the best offensive catcher to play the game. All that goes out the window of course if something involving him and steroids comes out. There has been the typical era suspicion, but don't think anything ever concrete.

Piazza is a no brainer hofer for sure.
As suggested....uless he is tied to roids. For now there is nothing more than speculation.

Wow, Don. I thought I was the only one that paid that ridiculous fee!!! I did it because he was the '96 ASG MVP and I needed my logo ball done. Glad to know I'm not alone!

    LOL, It's a sickness really!

I think he's a lock for the HOF and he's eligible next year. The signing fee may go down, but it may not. It's not like he probably needs to do signings for the money, he was paid $120M over his career. I'm a little worried that the days of getting an affordable HOF signature may end once the highly compensated players start to get elected.
