MOrning,
E-Bay just ended 75+ of my Store listings that were all different Cards Numbers in specific sets and then even ended stuff from different sets that were different Card numbers claiming they are all Duplicate listings. IE.
1975 Topps Basketball Card #175 Joe Blow Set Break
1975 Topps Basketball Card # 204 Joes Sister Set Break
1962 Terror Monster #117 PSA NM-MT 8
Saying they were duplicates.

Sorry to here that. What can you do besides just repost? Hopefully they dont charge you listing fee's for the auctions they just canceled.
Just relist them. That's all you can do.
Dave
Well the fun continues, called E-Bay and took it to the next level with Stupidvisor. The long and short after 45 minutes on the phone, if the title doesn't have 3 distinct differences in it, it violates their policy, and/or if the listing body doesn't explain that it is Card #175 of set of 362, with 2 other differences in the Body of the listing then it violates thier policy. My listings have been scrutinized Manually, I have been told, and if A customer searching on their Coffee break at work doesn't see Clearly Three (3) differences in the Title of All listings then they Can/Will be removed!!
Just another day in the E-Bay Universe !!!
YeeHah

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

WTF. It's a signed baseball card!? I guess pretty soon we wont be able to sell any cards with players images or names on them.

That is dumb. So whats the differance between selling yours and selling a slabbed auto?
If you are the Guy that pays $300 for a Willie Mays auto and stands in line for 3+ hours to do so, then that is yours and eBay should have no say in the matter.
What is someone suppose to do? Call Willie Mays agent and ask for a letter, signed by Willie Mays of course, with permission to "post publicly" his autograph?
What about those that are dead like Babe Ruth???
Unbelievable!!!!!
Paul.
Later, Paul.
Well you would have to get permisiion from his estate - but I agree. Freakin retarded.
<< <i>Well you would have to get permission from his estate >>
If eBay starts to cancel ALL listings without permission received, then eBay will have to cancel several thousands of autograph listings.
Yes, that is freakin' retarded!

<< <i>I feel your pain. I just woke up this morning to having one of my listings end for "Right of Publicity" violation. The item was a signed (not certified out of a pack) 1988 Donruss Cal Ripken card. Yup, here is the message....

From my understanding, when Ripken Baseball does this, it's because they believe the signature is not authentic. Otherwise they would pull all Ripken signatures.
What possible purpose can be served by removing a listing at this point?
