<< <i>Thanks Tiny for providing link. Try as I might, I just can't seem to figure out how to post links on CU. I have no trouble on any other web site(s) I visit, but I'm obviously missing something here. Any tips, secrets to this? >>
Find whatever you want, then highlight and copy the url.
Open a new thread, or hit reply to a previous thread.
Type whatever introductory text you wish.
Click on the button above the "Message text:" box that says "http o-o" (that is actually a picture of three links of a chain, to signify that you are entering a hyperlink).
A new box will open. Click into the dialog box and "paste" the url into the line.
Hit OK.
A new script prompt box will appear. It wants you to name the link as it will appear in your post. Most people say "link" or "linky" but you can say whatever you want.
Hit OK.
You are now back in the message text thread with your link showing. Hit enter once or twice to get below it, and you can type more text if you wish.
Send.

2. When in a CU message click the "http" button in the little toolbar immediately above the message. It has a little infinity symbol next to it.
3. A window will pop up asking for the web address. Paste it in that box. Note a common pitfall would be your browser blocking this popup window. Click the OK button.
4. The window will now ask for the "text" of the link, which is the label you want to show. Like "link", "cool eBay auction", etc. Enter it and click OK.
Your link, prefixed and suffixed by strange tags will be placed in the message. Don't mess with them. When you post or preview, it will appear as a link.
