I'm going to buy the Wagner on EBay.

If I can get 99 other people to join me.

I figure we can buy the card for $700 K. So $7000 investment will buy in to a partnership to jointly own the card. We'll agree not to house the card at anyone's home but instead display it around the nation at games, museums, events, etc. The setup might be similar to syndicates that have been formed to purchase race horses, which allow average Joes to own a share of a thoroughbred instead of a 1%er.

Group buy, who's in? Just kidding, but kinda not........image

You need to watch the Simpson's episode where Milhouse, Bart and Martin go in to buy a copy of Radioactiveman #1.

  • Having a Honus T206 isn't a big thing. Heck, I had the complete set. That's correct, every card. It even came in a nice color box.

I already sold it for $75.
