How long do your detector batteries last??

I'm finding that my Fisher CZ70 eats batteries like candy? Is this because of the display. The old Fisher that used 8 AA's would last 4-6 months with countless hours of use. Can you use rechargable batteries in it?

My old Whites lasts forever it seems on 8 AA batts. I honestly do not know how many hours but
I would venture a guess of 20 hours or more on a set.
Why don't you give the company a call? Talk to CS and see what they say. Perhaps you have a
problem machine.
