Beckett Raw Review question

There is a card that I have been looking for forever that I just found. It is graded by Beckett Raw Review......is it reliable? do they check for trimming? Why wouldn't they just submit the card for actual full review?

Normally you sub the card at a show for a review and if happy with the grade let them take it back to Dallas and slab the card.

the biggest issue with RCR has been people slicing the sides open carefully and replacing the card with one of lesser condition. so be sure to check that.

People don't do the full grading because the review is cheaper, I would question big $ cards that were not slabbed but did receive a high grade, as mentioned you can cut the card out. Technically, the grade isn't a guarantee if not submitted at the show where it was reviewed... which is totally understandable ie... guy puts review card in his wallet, drives around with it for a week in his back pocket, sends it in for grading, then complains the card was reviewed at a higher grade, etc....

I did that just one time and you keep bringing it up over and over again.

I bought a Beckett Raw Card Review and subbed it to PSA. It came back trimmed. And it was, but I did not check it out before sending it because I figured Beckett had already graded it. My mistake.

After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

thats why you buy the card, not the grade.
