No. It means old GREEN holder. The rattlers are even older and they are not referred to as OGH.

Old Green Holder and, yes, I agree, Rattlers are not OGHs.
To some of us, the OGH is the pinnacle of the TPG experience. I personally like asthetics of the green slab tag with gold coins.

That's because they rattle
I prefer the rattlers over the OGH, referring to Morgans only. I find the OGH's were graded more generously... again referring to Morgans only. That's been my experience.
I do like the OGH's, but refuse to purchase online if photo's stink!

I have never seen the initials OGH defined in this way before by anyone.
<< <i>Red copper in OGH are considered to be desirable since these holders are fairly old and it's presumed that surfaces are stable and shouldn't change in the future with proper storage. >>
So is OGH Gold as the time span for putty to turn in the holder has long expired.

Well, you read it here, so it must be true!

The term 'burnished' more generally is used to describe a coin that was worked on in an attempt to improve its eye appeal (such coins should not grade). The work involves the smoothing of rough surfaces (porous, corroded, areas struck by a rusted die, digs, scratches, etc.), typically by rubbing with a tool made of a harder metal.

Why The Face?
I'd like to know why certain colors were chosen as labels, based on focus groups? I do like the old green color. Reminds me of the color of truck the NFS and rangers drive.
