I don't know who this is? Help.
It looks like the last name is Morrall and I find Earl Morrall on Google, quarterback for the Baltimore Colts in 1969. He could have possibly been the Grand Marshall of the race.

Top left clockwise - Cotton Owens #6, Cale Yarborough (auto is upside down), Donnie Allison #27, Bobby Allison #22

Top row - Charlie Glotzbach. 2nd row- David Pearson #17 (Holman-Moody's car), Glen Wood, Marty Robbins drove some in late 60's.

Melvin, looks like Earl Morrall to me. That Talladega program from the first race is awesome.

First, what a great program with some great autographs. Thanks for sharing. I have been looking for a bobby Isaac auto so now I have something to compare it to.

Your mystery auto looks like this one.

  • Are these your auto's? Were you at the race?

    Very very cool items

    Thanks.

Brock21, yes all the autographs are mine. Yes I was at all the races. I did miss a Dave Marcis autograph in one of the programs when I was taking the photos. He signed it as car #30. I found a picture of the car in one of the programs and it was an Impala I do believe.

We used to make it to around 16 races a year back in the day. Living just outside Charlotte we were in the middle of Nascar.
    Races we usually attended:
Daytona and Atlanta in the spring. 2 races at Darlington, Rockingham, Charlotte, Martinsville, North Wilksboro, Hickory, Bristol, and tried to hit an odd track once in a while. One time it was Asheville-Weaverville and another it was Columbia, S.C. on dirt. Most races back then cost between $6 and $12 to attend.

    Ron,
Those are awesome autographs with several NASCAR Hall of Famers. Marty Robbins only raced in 35 races. Did you happen to save any ticket stubs from the races you went to?
I am looking for the following driver autographs:
    Jim Cook
    Ray Elder
    Eddie Gray
    Billy Wade
    Art Watts

Let me know if you have any of these or are ever interested in selling anything.

    Thanks,
    Logan

    Logan,

I posted 3 ticket stubbs on Sports Talk and have added a link. I have a cigar box with maybe 50 old Nascar ticket stubs I have been able to find from my going to the races days. Not really interested in selling but Will try to post some more ticket stubs soon.

    Ron

Edited to add: I did not find the program with one of my all time favorite drivers, Wendell Scott's autograph. I'll have to look closer.
