    Seems to be exceptionally well struck, possibly a lightly circ or mishandled Proof? I'll go with PF58

    I don't think it's a proof.

    I'll go at least au58, highest grade ms62.

    Greg, you and Meltdown are right on target.

    If the respondents looked carefully, it was
    obvious that it was a Proof - mishandled but
    still very well preserved.

    Of course, hindsight is "20 / 20".....image

    I looked at the proof on coinfacts for about 10 minutes trying to find a die marker for the date. I was very close to calling it PF62 and then went for 62PL. In the end, I didn't think rims were quite square enough.
