1989 Hoops Basketball question.

I have a couple of NBA Hoops Super Stars 100 card sets that were issued in a small box form. they are identical to the 1989 Hoops cards except that all of the cards have yellow borders. Sorry but I do ot have a scan of any cards as the sets are sealed. I opened a box years ago and there is a Michael Jordan. I am not sure who else was in this small set. Do these have any value? thanks in advance.

Not much value. You can buy the set on ebay for under $5.

Oh well...If I sell just one set, it would pay for what I paid for all 6 sets.

Ya, the sets were over produced like everythinbg else during that period. At least your David Robinson card is the real deal (hopefully). I would of thought that card was still a $5.00 piece, guess not.

If any of your Jordans are PSA 10 worthy, submit them. Jordans of all kinds still sell high.

They were a Sears exclusive... always loved the Rodman card from that year of Hoops.

The Detroit Pistons Championship was a big pull. When the card shop owner offered me $20 when I pulled it out of the pack in 1989 I could not believe it. Should have sold it but it just would have went to more packs I am sure.

Yes I guess i should open them for the possibility of PSA 10 worthy Jordans. i will open them tomorrow night and scan and post a thread for opinions if i should submit any of them.
