Question about a 1989 Topps Pack......

I have a couple of questions here, regarding a 1989 Topps Wax Pack. A friend of mine showed me a pack of 1989 Topps yesterday and it had a Major League (the movie) sticker across the whole front of the pack. He has about 3 or 4 of these packs. Does anyone know if this was put out by someone to promote the movie back then, or if this is something that topps did???? Or is this something that someone did somewhere along the way????? I do not have a scan of the pack at this time. But if anyone may have seen these or heard of them, please let me know.

I think it has been discussed before on the forum. Yes they did put out cards for the movie.
