Multiple pics in auction of items not included in auction

I'm about to list a ton of lower dollar cards and am considering something I haven't tried before, the practice of including a pic with six items pictured, while only one of the items is actually for bid in this auction. I would of course be including the prerequisite "You are only bidding on the card in the title and description, not the other items pictured."

I see good and bad with this approach. It seems it can be confusing but can also show auction viewers the other items I'm selling.

Any thoughts or experiences on this approach? Thanks! I always appreciate the input I get from the great board members here.

  • As long as the cards are different you should be OK - I've had no problems doing that.
  • If it's hard to see the scans or pics, at least put it in the description where the card is located(i.e. bottom left, middle, etc.)

I would limit it to 4 pics as you can still see some detail on the card. Anymore than four and there too small for me.

this was my only thought as well.. the more cards, typically the more resolution or clarity that is lost.

Thanks everyone for the input. I think I'll stick to four pics in a scan and give this a try.
