    There's no doubt about it. He did nothing else but football and when it was taken from him, he had no reason to live anymore.

    I would say if not for Sandusky, Joe would still be alive. Joe had nothing else to live for after being fired. His "family" was gone, the man died of a broken heart.

    The Bear said in a Sports Illustrated article that the day he stopped coaching would be the day he died.
    A short while after he was done coaching, he passed on.
