Mantle-Ford Signed Bat Questions

I am a coin collector venturing over to the Sports board to gain some more information.
I obtained this bat directly from Mick and Whitey in the early 80's at the Westchester Golf Classic.

I do not want to risk potential mailing issues to get certification of authenticity and want to ask if are there shows
where I could physically take this bat to get this done by a major agency on the spot? Want to preserve/prove the authenticity
for the future.

I live in Tampa, FL.

I don't know exactly where it is on the PSA site, but they have a list of shows they attend throughout the year.

Theres a show coming feb. 3rd&4th,at 831 W. FEDERAL HIGHWAY Hallandale,exit 19 right off 95.
Theres over a 100 dealers set up and Beckett& JSA will be on site Authenticating,

To answer your question, YES, PSA/DNA does attend shows across the country and at some they authenticate right at the show. However, it looks like the only show they will attend in Florida will be in Orlando in August. HOWEVER, they will not be authenticating on site. You can bring your bat to them, but they will take it back to their place, authenticate it, and mail it back to you.
