I sell PDF versions of my books. They work very nicely on my iPad. Better than carrying around a 700-page book. I also put my grey sheets on my iPad. I read the The Numismatist on it too, unless I read my hard copy before I download it.
PCGS has a nice grading app for the Iphone. As of now, its a free download. It gives nice digital photographs of all coins in all grades. Ive used it exxtensively for grading unfamiliar series.
The PCGS grading app has a version for the i- pad as well and I find it excellent.
There's also a US coin collection inventory App that I've found useful. Though not perfect, it's actually pretty good and is far superior to my previous system- which was hap-hazard at best. It's called i-Coin$ HD and i'm pretty sure there's a trial version which is free.
Have fun
