Value of 1984 & 1988 dodgers team signed baseballs

Just got a call from a friend asking if these have any decent value.
I know nothing else but I am sure there is no COA.
If it is real-anybody have an idea?
I am posting this from my phone trying to give him a quick answer.
Thanks

Ask him to list who is on the balls. Sometimes a seemingly insignificant signature makes a big difference - Tim Crews (d. 1993) and Mike Sharperson (d. 1996) on the 1988 ball are huge to autograph collectors.

What he said, plus the 1988 was a Championship year. Besides Crews and Sharperson, Gibson was a near impossible signature to get as a player. If all the key sigs are on the ball and it is clean about $200-300 value, though team balls I have found to be a tough sell.

  • The 84 ball doesn't have a whole lot of value since it wasn't a championship year. The 88 balls typically go for between $300-$450 authenticated based on past sales, providing they have all the major sigs (Gibson, Hershiser, Lasorda, Fernando, Scioscia, Sax, Hatcher, etc). If the 88 ball is in good condition and has all the major sigs, it would be worth the cost to get it authenticated by PSA or JSA.
