Last year Topps used wax packs?

Does anyone know the last year Topps used wax packs before switching to foil packs? I'm putting together a run of Topps packs and will likely try to stop with the last wax pack. Thanks for any help.

I do believe 1993 was the last year of the wax pack and then in 1994 they switched over to the plastic packs that are much like a foil pack but actually have no foil in them. I am not 100% sure on this but I think this is the case.
  • 1991 Topps Baseball were the last wax packs with gum.

1992 Topps Baseball saw the remove of gum and wax, replacing the wax with mylar/cello wrapping

The actual wax paper wrappers stopped with 1990 or 1991. I remember the 1992 and 1993 packs being wrapped just like the wax packs, but they were cellophane instead of wax. Then I believe in 1994 they switched to more of a modern foil-type pack sealed at the top and bottom.

There were wax packs produced at the beginning of the year and they switched to plastic during the year.
