I need some help with the item below. I have the 2nd edition of the So-Called Dollars book and can't find it there.

Is it a so-called dollar or a medal? Which side is the obverse?
HK number or some other reference number? Thank you in advance,

It appears similar to an HK80 in design, but I do not find an exact match. Good luck, perhaps someone far more knowledgeable will reply.

Not a So Called Dollar as it's a 1876 Pennsylvania U.S. Centennial Expo Medal of Fairmount Park struck in White Metal.

So-Called Dollars have to be close to dollar size. There's some flexibility in that area, but your is way too big -- 2-3 inches in diameter -- to qualify.

It's a medal produced for the Centennial Exposition. As Centennial Expo medals go, it's one of the commoner ones. Yours is in somewhat better condition than most. If you listed it on eBay, it might bring $50 or so.

Thanks to all for your help. I currently have it cataloged as a U.S. Centennial Expo. Medal.

    Here's why I asked...
This item is closer to dollar size than another so-called dollar I have - HK157.

This one is 51mm, while a large size US dollar is about 31mm.
Check out HK157 (E36) so-called dollar from the Columbian Expo at about 58mm.
