    Matt,

Congrats on another great pickup. Teddy Ballgame never looked better. image

Awesome looking card Matt. Presents real well for a "6". Enjoy.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Thanks Guys, I am not sure what it is, but I am finding myself gravitating to more mid grade cards as of late. I think they reflect the period more than super sharp high grade cards.

Wow, nice card Matt! I'm finding I really enjoy looking at/collecting B&W cards ('48 Bowman, '39 Playball, '53 Bowman B&W).

How is this only a 6? Nice pick up.

  • Nice pickup!

That card is definitely at the top of my want list once I finish my Jackie Robinson collection.

Great card. I think Ted Williams rookie cards are undervalued. How can this not be one of the most desirable of all vintage cards, even though it is black and white?

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

Very Very nice card. I have been looking for a low grade with nice eye appeal myself.

Is this the one that just ended on eBay? If so, I was watching it but was never really going to be a serious bidder. Congrats!

Matt awesome card of Teddy Ballgame! Good for you finding the allure of sweet looking mid grade cards, sadly I wish I took that approach when I was heavy in to buying cards, had I done that Id still have a nice collection of cards image

That is a great looking 6. I have seen a ton of 7's that do not look as good as this one. Congrats and great addition to your collection.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

A real beauty, Matt, congrats on another addition to your amazing collection. I love how innocent & naive he looks in that pic (not yet jaded and pissed off at the world...)
