The mint shorted 1 set of 5 ordered on one of my orders that shipped 12/01. Today my daughter calls me and asks what I ordered for her.....low and behold the missing set was shipped.....yes 1/18/12.

Does the mint still have more????

I'd be surprised anyone sent these back given the dramatic rise in price, so where did this one lone set come from???

Anyone else have this happen?

I had a box of 5 also that only had 4 sets in it. I hope they send me another, but my wife marked refund so probaly not. I'm just hoping for refund soon,been 2 months.

That's my nightmare scenario in flipping sealed boxes; basically taking it on faith that there are 5 sets inside -- an ebay buyer (or grading service) could open, say there are only 4 sets inside, and there's really no way to argue. Since ebay doesn't allow sellers to set appropriate screening for buyers (for instance, by letting sellers require a long successful feedback history), it forces a huge leap of faith that the buyer is honorable.

I would save a copy of your UPS label, it puts the weight of the box that the sets came in at the top. Mine (sealed box of two) says clearly "6 LBS". And your USPS shipment to your buyer will also be weighed.
It would be hard to argue that you only received four sets when the box it came in said 15 pounds, not 12.
I wouldn't worry about it too much.

The box has the weight on it so it would be hard to dispute.

I just sold my five sealed sets, glad I waited for the glut to go away

My box of 5 only weighed 12.60 lbs, all my others were over 15lbs. She is going to have to call mint today to see whats up,its been over 2 months since we filed a report with them.

I had one box of (4) set and it weighed 12 lbs.

My other box had a single set in it.

I wonder what the final production was when factoring in returns (though it was probably non existent).
