Would they cancel the White Plains show because of snow

Would they cancel the White Plains show this weekend because of snow? we were planning on going down and i just want to make sure that befoire we take the 1 1/2 hour trek it is still on.

  • My logical assumption is no - it's a pretty big show and they probably shell out quite a bit of money for the signers.

    Also I kind of have to assume it is inside and not outside so snow shouldn't be an issue unless it falls 5 feet thick.
  • I hope not. I have 4 Nolan Ryan Rookies their waiting for Koosman to sign.

    Several years ago, when I was working at DACW, the promoter at the time (Rothstein Productions) shut down the show for good by noon on Saturday. It was a PITA pushing a dolly through the snow over and over again. If I remember correctly, we sat in the hotel all night, had pizza delivered, then had to dig out from over a foot of snow the next morning.
