I actually think Giants have a good chance of winning, but also being a Redskins fan cannot cheer for any other NFC East team. I'm counting on Dan Snyder buying one of the Super Bowl teams and swapping rosters with the skins
The league decided that the old skins were so powerful that they could no longer be allowed to exist, so they used the mad scientists from Coinalot to transfer the abilities of the old hogs into some of the Giants. In a sense of balance, the scientists also made some of the other players clumsy and stupid so people wouldn't realize the transfers had taken place. Then they added the classic skins inconsistency at QB and voila! it's really the skins in disguise and being that it's really the skins, they will choke in this key game so all true fans will recognize them.
edit: further prediction...Brady will trip over his own feet and severely injure himself, rendering him unable to play in the SuperBowl, even if they win this game. Watch for it!
Don't know if editing will eliminate me but I see someone earlier has the same picks and spread so I would like to change my spread to 28 poins if possible. Pats by 21 New Yourk by 7

Rule 6 The contest is nothimg but a way to drag sports onto the coin forum. In addition there is a "Coinswaps, Tags and Giveaways" forum which would be a better place for your contest.

<< <i>I'll be "AU" (50) this year, and have been collecting coins off and on since I was a kid. My grandmother helped fill in some of the holes in my Mercury dime collection, and I bought my 1962 Mint set in the late 70s. Most of the small amount of Gold that I own was purchased when spot was ~$325....
A year ago I owned no "slabbed" coins, and had never heard of the 20th Anniversary ASE set... before the year was up, I was sending my own 25th Anny "Box o' 5" in for FS labels. I "handled" my first Trade Dollar about 6 months ago, and knew I wanted to include such a piece of history in my collection. My girlfriend said that "I couldn't stand not having something that she had", and that may have had something to do with it?... I wanted a "problem free" coin, and didn't trust my limited knowledge enough to buy a "raw" coin, so searched for a "decent" PCGS graded specimen, which arrived about a week before this thread was started.
I'll always treasure this 1875 CC Trade Dollar, as it is now my best/favorite "coin story"!
I'd like to thank the Giants, Patriots, and especially crypto79 for his generosity and making this possible.
Sincerely,
Bill >>
Glad it got there safe, you should have taken a picture of the other side/the better one. Anyway it's still a CC silver Dollar and I am glad it ended up with someone who treasures it.
<< <i>It went off for slabbing with a label request on both the form and the flip, but it didn't make it to print ("2012 crypto79-WRM"). A couple local engravers said they could not do it (wanted to add a brass placque to the holder???), so I got my engraving pencil out over the weekend and added it....
I sure miss my SLR macro lense, had to make-do with my "point and shoot", for now....
I still BLAME my girlfreind Donna for showing me the first T$ I ever saw, but THANK crypto79 for starting out my T$ collection!
I'm still in awe everytime I look at your set....
Thanks again,
Bill >>
Your Girlfriend introduced you to trade dollars!? Shouldn't THAT be your best trade dollar story? Just kiddin', cool to see what you've done with the giveaway coin.
I am so glad it went to you WRM and truly welcome to the Trade Dollar family. There are a lot of good guys here who collect these and love them too. I will dig up your address and send you some old books on them. I think your set is coming along nicely and that 77CC chop is a killer coin, check it out for the rare repunched Mint Mark. It would have the tops of a different set of C's poking out of the inside center of the main set of C's. TDN's MS66 on his site is a good one to look at for this variety.
I also think it is funny and your set shows it perfectly, The most common Trade Dollar by far is the 77s and your PQ example is a choice AU50 with a POP of 100 in that grade with 1221 higher. The 78CC in MS62 (also nice btw) which is a "better Date" Morgan has 3500 in that grade and 15500 higher.

Edit - to come up with a margin that actually has a shot to win.
