I must be crazy to pay $25 for a Joey Galloway game used shoe card, but....

It's very unique. As you can see the autograph in the picture on the back. So I know what part of the shoe it is.

Auto- You always seem to find the nicest gu'ed cards. Its a great pickup.
  • hours of ebay snooping. image
  • The way the "Ground Hoggs" GU series is, is that the first 25 (Yours being #15) All have part of the signature. 26-135 are just regular GU. But that card is sweet, hopefully he'll do something productive image
  • Dunno, but if that is the case, I may look for more.
  • Nice card!....hey find me a good GU of Jerry Rice, Derrick Thomas or Kevan Barlow for cheap image (u don't havta)
  • My Ebay snooping days is coming to a close... may put all of my rookies on there individually with starting bid of $1 and take whatever they end at.
  • My Friend Mark has the Edgerrin James (Shoe/Auto/#ed) Ground Hoggs.

After I get rid of all of these rookie cards, I could start up an Ebay snooping program image. Just charge a finder's fee image. OR I may just do the "card flipping" thing. But cheap and then re-post for easy money. But seriously, my interest in cards are fading which is why I have been selling majority of my RCs and player collections. I lost interest in trading because I've been burn many times because people don't know what "MINT" means. If I ever trade again, it will be for GU'ed patch or graded cards only.

I had a card similar to that from 01 playoff of Derrick Mason from the Titans...it had almost his entire #85 on the shoe piece written in sharpie (Im guessin they all wear the same shoes and need some way to differentiate)

That plus a bonus for the first few cards. I think they take the shoes to have cut up and put all the piece in a bag, then take that bag and have those inserted into that particular card. Not hard to keep track of.
