Any idea how to block buyers on ebay?

Can't find the link in my ebay preferences. Do you have to have a store?

Middle column on next page is something like "selling activities", and in that section is "block bidder / buyer list", click there and add your deadbeat using cut and paste.
Click on "Customer Support"; search for "Blocked Bidder"; select "the Seller"; select "Block users from buying/bidding on your items"; select "Block bidders or buyers from your listings"; enter that user's name in the list.

Does that work?
<< <i>I remember it being a lot easier to block bidders in the past. I wonder why ebay has us jump so many hoops to block bidders now? I suppose it's for the same reason that sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for bad buyers. >>
To take that even further...my "eBay Policy Compliance" on my seller dashboard was dropped from "high" to "medium" because I left positive feedback for a non-paying buyer but put in the comment section "non-payer...beware...no response to invoice or e-mail"
My only recourse since you can't leave anything but positive feedback for a deadbeat buyer.
