I just received notification that Intercept Shield Slab Covers are back in stock at Wizard Coin Supply! I know people have been hunting for them ... so, here they are!

Don't buy them all, Ankur, let others have a shot! image

Note: I have no affiliation with Wizard Coin Supply (other than being a happy customer).

The other side has a window so you can see into the label section.

We found one case buried in the warehouse. So, unfortunately not a new supply.

I tried ordering 20 last night while they were still in stock. When I got to the checkout my order only had 8. I tried to change it to 20, but no such luck. So I decided to wait until this morning when I could call them. Now they're all gone... image

Interesting! Those covers could also prevent scratches from the faces of your PCGS slabs.

  • I bought one of their boxes at FUN, but I don't know, is there any proof that they do anything? I understand they are "buffered," does that agent present any problem for coins locked in a safe box for years?

    Wayne,
From a realistic point of view, do you anticipate ever getting the Intercept Shield Lincoln Cent album covering the years 2008 thru 2016?
Wizzard Coin Supply should know what's up with the manufacturer. It's been over THREE years! If you can't get this album from Intercept Shield, which brand would you recommend. Dansco, Whitman, or other? Thanks,

  • Never saw these before... so coin->plastic->shield->small box->bigger box->safe->secret vault image

Anyone know how long these are supposed to be effective for?

I just threw away about 60 of those with the boxes, they were supposed to be good for about 10 years and mine were close to 10 years old. Mine were still dark brown on the inside and I think they said you can tell when they are exhausted because the inside color will turn black, but I threw them all out anyway.

    Hi Steve,

I think so. I sat down with them in November to push on this album and the boxes that are out of stock or running low and will be back to see them next month on the subject.

    Hi Wayne-

Any chance of them producing the 10 slab boxes with 10 slab covers. Those were just fantastic.

    Thanks, R-
