my son graded this morgan...

...and we want to know if you agree with his grade. he just turned 10 and he loves coins. his 1881-O doesn't officially have a grade yet, so could you grade it for us?

once i have enough replies I'll post what he graded it so he can compare his grade with what the experts think. the photos aren't the greatest for grading, but we are just trying to get an idea of what everyone thinks. thanks!

I agree with the 63 folks here. I have several 63s with similar dings and scratches. Too many mars & marks to get to 64 IMO.

62 or 63, I've seen coins on either side of this one in both. I don't know if that's wear on the hair above Liberty's ear, I think it's a bad new orleans strike + some chatter.

63 or 64. I don't think it's beat up enough for a 62, and something makes the feel like the lustre could be booming on the coin. If so, it may carry the coin to a 64 (albeit a low end 64), but otherwise 63.
