There are actually 4 in total with 2 of the English and 2 Italian.
There has not been a new 10 hit for a while. I check the pop reports daily on a few things and this is one of them.
Either way there has yet to be one listed for the masses on EBAY so I would think this gets some decent action for sure.
There have been a few graded for sure that were the UK version that were listed Italian. They do have the pop reports separated at this point and have for a while but it is possible I suppose that one of the two listed under Italian were wrongly labeled.
When I sold my Panini 86 Larry Bird PSA 10 to a collector from the registry he had them verify the cert and they moved all of the Larry Bird stickers from 1985 to 1986.
The 10's have popped up in the past few months and I do believe they had them separated at that point but I can't say for sure.
If you look at the current Pop report it is 2 and 2 and then you must look at the 1985 Italian which is mislabeled and there are no 10's. Two of my PSA 9's say 85 and two say 1986. My submission was the first copies of the Panini stickers they got right and listed under 86 about four or five months ago. These can be found under Multi sport listing.
The day I got it from the seller in Cyprus I put it in a card saver. There was something in the card saver and so I pulled the sticker out gently and somehow my finger print got on it. I have handled quite a few with no problem.
I paid $220 for it so I was really annoyed. I tried cleaning it with a soft cloth, a slight amount of water and neither worked. The sticker is razor sharp so I gave up so I don't really ruin it.
I just got a PM with another suggestion I am going to try and see if that works. Thanks for sending me that suggestion.

Tyson Panini
Tyson has a very broad appeal. I would love to see this card become one of the iconic rookie cards of the 80s.
Jeff
What do 9's sell for? Either version.
Really? That's FUNNY!
<< <i>What do 9's sell for? Either version. >>
I sold a PSA 9 for around $250 last summer, if I remember right. I think they consistently sell within the $200-$300 range. I know DPeck tracks these more than I do, maybe he can better answer that question for you.
Jeff
The card has cooled off some as raw buyers are no longer willing to pay $150 for an EX card.
<< <i>I am the high bidder but don't expect to win it. Kind of a "let's hope DPeck does not bring this to everyone's attention" type bid.
I am out at $500. You boys can fight it out!
Jeff
There is not anywhere near the collector base for Tyson that there is for say Jordan or other elite athletes but with a supply of Mint or higher copies being so low, it doesn't take anywhere near the number of interested buyers to keep the price high. You only need a few people to really want this card.
I'd estimate it closer to $1500 just seeing different auctions and different pops from baseball, I don't know how strong Tyson is compared to that lol.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
This auction is going to get really interesting. I was one of the people affected when Photobucket went down last year and I had no access to my pictures for about two weeks. They gave me the upgraded service and I can see how many times a photo has been viewed.
The nicest Tyson I posted in this thread has been viewed 608 times in the past five days. The others are in the 370 range which is still a lot.
There is a big appetite for this card in high grade and this one is going to launch from here for sure is my bet.
"Live everyday, don't throw it away"
This is great for boxing cards!
Jeff
No I didn't.

When we were buying them they were not cheap so while an auction could deliver explosive results it might not.
The other big thing to consider is once the seller in Cyprus sells out it will be a while before any boxes will surface.
You can make the case for trying to sell and wanting to hold. I would wait until later in the auction to list if I were you. I would take advantage of the final few hours and then list it if you plan to sell.
Whatever the results are they will impact your listing.
In my opinion - you'd be better off opening the box and submitting the Tyson's. People don't know enough about these packs yet to really pay good money for the boxes. You'd probably make more from two pack fresh Tyson rookies than you would off of an unopened box. Just my opinion, though.

Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable
I am pleased with the progress. It is not perfect but much better. Thanks to the board member who suggested to first breathe on the card and buff it out with a soft white cloth. That helped but I think the next recommendation he made to actually use spit helped the most. The spit I think worked very nicely!

Tyson BGS 9
This is going to be fun to watch in the final days as this could either stay close to the current price or explode.
Time will tell!!!
I might as well get in on the action. Bump up the bid for something to do.
Jeff
There are 92 watchers currently. This is going ot be very unpredictable as we approach the closing bell. If there are any high priced snipes set to go off this could really launch.
I think I am going to have my perfectly centered one re looked at with this kind of price.
LOL
<< <i>This card could go easily in the $1100 to $1500 range... >>
I am still sticking to this estimate..

That being said I have never seen an auction with 18 bidders that has climbed from the get go not snipe at the end so as others said this could certainly pop some more.
WTB: 2001 Leaf Rookies & Stars Longevity: Ryan Jensen #/25
I think on a rare item like this there has to be a few snipes set so it may not matter in the end here.
