You need to turn on your pm function. Go to your profile and select it.

The cast bronze pieces are Chinese, Korean, or Vietnam. They could be anywhere from 100 to 300 years old. Most are very common and typically found in dealers "junk" boxes.

The two 4 coin sets are Japanese and look to be 20th century.

The Franklin Mint medals are generally considered silver rounds and sell for bullion.

The Egyptian themed silver and gold pieces I do not recognize. Can you post photos of other side?

The cast coins are all Japanese and appear to be part of a set of Japanese coins.

  • Coin #8 is a Japanese bronze 1 sen. The date is on the other side, which isn't shown in your "Back of Coins" picture, but it's probably 1916-24.

#9 is probably a 10 sen from the WWII period, again dated on the unshown side.

#12 is a modern brass Japanese 5 yen, dated somewhere between 1959 and yesterday. The picture is not clear enough for my old eyes to read the date, but it may be the earliest version, struck from 1949-58.

#13 is an aluminum 5 sen. It is dated (again on the unseen side) between 1940 and 1943, and is one of three varieties, each one lighter in weight than its predecessor. It's the only one that could possibly have a value greater than $1, depending on which variety it is.

I agree with Sumnom on the round, holed, cast coins - all appear to be Japanese, and probably between 145 and 300 years old.

    Hi Roy!

Zohar's post, hints to the fact that the "Egyptian" coins, aren't official coins, but fantasy editions from the Franklin Mint, worth their silver melt value in the coin market, unless there's somebody willing to pay the original Franklin Mint value, or somewhere in between the two. The buffalo nickel is a fairly common date (final date was 1938), vastly available, but a very pretty design nevertheless! Its value won't be more than a dollar or two at this grade, but you could also ask about it at the Liteside.
