Any Dan Marino auto experts out there?

This one kind of has an interesting story. When I was a kid I used to subscribe to Sports Illistrated for Kids and from time-to-time they would post a mailing address for kids to send to in order to get an autograph from a certain player. Dan Marino is my all-time favorite athlete and I sent in for his autograph. Three years later I received this in the mail. Any ideas on whether or not it's authentic? It sucks because it came with a small crease in the top left of the picture but I could probably get that fixed by a professional. Let me know. Thanks.

Edit: Just got home to double check this picture and now the auto is there. Him, maybe contrast was too low from my computer at work. Clear as Daylight now. Weird. Anywho, that auto does actually look pretty good though. I'm from Miami and I see it all the time here at card shops and shows.

Does the signature appear to be over or under the gloss on the photo? You should be able to find a guide on how to tell if something is a print or not.
