I have one of these also. I believe they were available at the New York World's Fair in 1939 at the Czech exhibit for support after the Nazis took over.
I just found one of these as well- great picture and I believe that it was made or at least available for the NY World's Fair- I have no idea how difficult this one is to find, but the design is compelling

And the medal was true, the country rose out of the ashes like a phoenix and Prague remains one of the most original cities in the heart of Europe because the fascists and commies didn't think to destroy it.
