My partner and I bought this today and we're wondering if anyone knows what it is. Our searching has shown that it's a medal probably from Augsburg in Germany. One side depicts the Augsburg town hall and the Perlach tower. The reverse depicts the Augsburg coat of arms and motto in Latin. I'm guessing it's 0.900 silver and weights 33 grams and measures 42mm diameter.
Any help is appreciated.

The latin inscription on the scroll translates to "To you, O Christ, is justly famous in Augsburg, the city truly royal."
Hope this helps. Good luck tracking it down

I actually stood in that plaza back in Nov 1998. They had a Christmas celebration.
