any tear gas in the door? you may want to check...i picked up a couple of these and restored them. Both had the old tear gas vials in them still. If you unscrew the inside door cover, it should be blocking the back of the dial, so someone couldn't drill into it. If they are still intact, you may want to find a nice place to "dump" them! And not tell anyone you did! Cool old safe!

Nice safe! Does it bolt to the floor or anything? 1000 lbs is a lot, but not for anyone with a dolly. After all, I just had two guys deliver my new refrigerator and they were in and out in 5 minutes!
Cool info. I've got an opportunity to get one one size bigger and the same make. Haven't made up my mind till I have the floor checked, then braced for that load.
