Can't believe the outcome. Really thought LSU would pull this one out. LSU had a great team but just didn't show up tonight. College Football really needs a plus one playoff....

    LSU just overmatched. Bama defense is crazy good. Daddy won enough to buy a mid '70's unopened box image

    Great performance by UA's student-athletes. And a delightful game to watch. Definitely a high-water mark for college sports.

    you must have missed it.

    lost in all the hoopla over bowl game scores which rivaled those of basketball game scores, is the fact that the object of the game on defense is to prevent the other squad from scoring.

    not only did 'Bama execute that plan so well, they prevented the other squad from MOVING!

    that was one of the most dominating team games ever, they didn't need a touchdown, heck they would have played a perfect game while protecting the margin of one field goal.

    boring? sure. but that was awesome to watch.

    they must have withheld food from that defense for the past month. image

    Alabama defense was very good but I agree it was a poorly played game from the perspective of a football fan with ties to neither team. Sometimes you don't know what will happen. I saw LSU a few times this year and they were awesome. I saw the first Alabama LSU game and thought both teams were lacking and neither could beat Boise State. I still think Boise would beat the LSU who showed up last night. If they played again in a couple weeks the result could be completely different.
