calling all Medals experts: American makers of large medals in the late 19th century?

As a medals newbie, I’m trying to learn more about the capabilities of mid-late 19th century United States medal-makers.

In the 1880-1900 period, other than the US Mint, what American firms were capable of striking a 3” bronze medal (in collar)? Or, should probably be asked: what firms are known to have struck (and patina-finished) relatively large diameter medals in that time period?
