I did not find any Salzburg thalers that interested me, at the NYINC. However, I did pick up this one last month, from Ritter.

I have this one which resembles the reverse of yours.

Thats what I said when I saw it. I need to try and image it again to capture the sharpness of the detail and mirror like surfaces.

I have another at a lower grade yet kept it given the bluish toning and the very sharp detail.

As an aside St. Rupert is holding a salt box representing the Salzburg (Salt Castle) surrounding salt mines.
