Image opinions needed, grading opinions?

Any comments on these images? I have now purchased new lighting so the images have plenty of clean light.

Any ideas how I can improve them?

The coin is graded and just returned from CAC with a green bean.

there are more than a few threads in the forum on photography, i recommend going through some of them

as a minimum, half of the benefit of this forum is the archives

I feel you need to back up a little from the coin. When a pic is taken so close to a coin
it is taking away from the over all beauty of the coin if it has any. MOO

All in all it is a nice picture and Beaut of a coin. I'd say 64 or 65

White balance looks off, look at the color of the prongs.

Thanks again for the input. Sooner or later I will get this down. On a side note it graded MS65*

Fix the white balance. Never use "auto white balance" for coins. Always use the preset for your light source or do a custom/manual white balance calibration.

As always, John's advice on photography is spot-on.

White balance is easy to adjust. But start with the right camera setting for the lighting you use.

I like the photos and you're doing very well. Focus needs a little work.
