Enjoyed the Ride

Guys, the last 3.5 years here have been very entertaining and I want to thank everyone for the knowledge they've shared and the stories they've told. I've been collecting off and on since the early 80's, but never had as much fun with the hobby as I've had here on the forum. I am not selling any of my cards, I just don't have the funds to keep purchasing at the rate to make it fun anymore. Plus, I have 2 young children at home now and I'm spending ALL of my free time with them. Just no extra minutes in the day to come visit here often like I could in the past. Rather than just disappear and stop posting altogether, I at least wanted to explain while I'll be much more silent going fwd. and won't be visiting nearly as often. If anyone ever wants to catch up, my personal email is michael_c_adams@yahoo.com. Thanks again for everything. This board reignited my interest in the hobby.

Little plastic thing called a credit card. We're all gonna die in 11 months so charge that baby up!

With that same credit card mentioned above, buy them two laptops. That way you can all sit in the same room and ignore each other equally. My wife and I do this and it works great!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

  • Michael,
I can relate. I have a 3 year old, a 1 year old, and a 3 month old running around here. forum posting is few and far between. And I don't purchase items quite as frequently as I did a few years ago, mainly limited my focus to a a PSA registry set I was working on. Enjoy your kids! You can never get this precious time back with them.

just wait till your kids become teenagers; they won't talk to you/hang with you much anymore, so we will probably see you then. enjoy the time with them now.
