Nellie Fox, Roger Maris, & Paul Waner Auto Index Cards - Legit? What do you think?

Found a album of autos for auction. The pics are too small for a PSA/DNA QO. All were allegedly signed in the 1960s. What do you guys think? These good? Clubhouse may be? Just curious. TY for your opinions.

I think the first two are OK.

On the Waner, my instinct tells me it might be a Ron Dross forgery.
  • TY for your opinion. Yeah, I just can't about these. They look so close in comparison to other PSA/DNA authenticated items. My concern is that they are from the 1960s and may be clubhouse autos.

you've used the term "clubhouse" signatures twice and I think you need to understand that "clubhouse" signatures is a term that generally applies to team signed baseballs and not flat items such as cards and 3 x 5's. What is the significance of your "concern" that these were signed in the 1960's (I don't follow that one bit either)?

If that Fox is from the 60s, then I would say fake because it looks like a sharpie. They must have been kept in perfect storage for those 3x5s to still be that white. So, my take is no good on the Fox, and I do not know about Maris or Waner.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Steadtler? LOL...I cant tell for 100% sure that its not a permanent marker. Im surprised anyone can from a pic.
  • Yank, honestly it just looks like a blue pen to me....
  • Thanks for all the support here, everyone.

I passed on the auction of these items because the bidding got out of control and ran past the point of my greatest allowable risk acceptance.

I apologize for not using the term "clubhouse" correctly. I failed to understand its correct meaning. I assumed that if these flats we sent via snail mail in the 1960s to the clubhouse for player to sign, that anyone in the "clubhouse," like the ball boy or a trainer, would sign the items and return them. However, I now understand the real meaning of the work in terms of auto baseballs being passed around. Thanks. Meatloaf
