    Clashed dies I presume.

    If so, very nice example of a die clashed coin.

    I have found four 1965 SMS sets with all four dimes having been struck by clashed dies. Sold one set for much more than I paid for it; donated one set to a coin club auction and still have two sets.

    Yes, clashes and a lot of them. I've never seen a complete letter either on an Ike after looking at about 15k of them.
