PCGS will begin grading services in Asia!

PCGS President Don Willis announced at the PCGS Collectors Club luncheon at FUN that grading services will begin soon in Asia! Here's a link to the announcement:

    counterfeiting of rare coins in those areas and the current boom in rare China

    Very interesting and probably savvy. The last JNDA Tokyo show (and I think the one before it) PCGS had a table. IIRC the one in 2010 had some literature, and in 2011 had a Japanese representative I did not talk to (she kinda reminded me of some of the gals from the car show--there for looks and smiling, though more conservatively dressed image--some of ya'll would have enjoyed the car show! One word. Leather.).

    In any case, the difference in amount slabbed product was incrementally/yet visibly noticably different as well (I am not counting Clark Smith--both years or NEN--2010 only). I wish I could go in 2012 image.

    I just hope they are not growing too fast and when the coin market tanks, the Asian operation closed and written off.
