canadians struck thru thread

About 10% of the earlier pl coins I have exibit this mint error.
Do these conditions warrant any premium in value or are they just a detriment
to an otherwise higher graded coin?
Thanks

I believe they have little, if none at all, extra value.

    They are quite common.

I assume you're referring to an often small 'S' shaped indention on the coins' surface when the PL coin is struck through a small fibre or thread.
