T-3, Supersized and Exhibit Supply?

Morning,

Thinking of submitting a set of #1-16 1920 Exhibit Supply Amos & Andy Exhibit Supply Postcard Back Cards. Are these T-3's, oversized, or Supersized? Do they fit in this months special for $10 card 10 day?

Thanks

Neil

Do they even grade those exhibits? I thought they were pretty much grade baseball only which irritates me as there are a lot of great cards from other sports or non-sports. I think they might be unsure of slabbing fakes which probably are most likely the Cassius Clay......

  • Morning,

You are correct keemosbay....I called, they Only Slab Baseball Exhibit Supply. If your rationalization of the why is what you say about their worried about counterfeits, what they think it would be harder to counterfiet a Baseball Exhibit Supply than a Wrestling one? That is Bogus!!

And on that same note, they Slab Postcard size Mutoscope Pin-up Girls, 4 or 5 different series, but not Exhibit Supply? WTF? I think I will be sending an E-Mail to Joe about this one.

  • Yes this has bothered me for a while that they only grade baseball. I called years ago about grading the football and was told they did not grade out of fear of reprints. I found that funny as I have never seen a football exhibit reprint in over 10 years but I have seen tons of the baseball ones and a number have been slabbed.

If you really want them slabbed give Earl at SGC a call, they grade lots of Exhibits, just wait for a special and I bet you can get them graded for around $8 a card. I have had them grade Baseball, Football, Boxing, Hockey, Actors and a bunch of Multi Sports.

Also they fit into Tallboy slabs.

the funny thing is the #1 reason that 3rd Party grading exists is to determine that a card is authentic and not a fake. They (PSA) cant even do this job right or probably in reality are too lazy to learn and execute.

Ive never seen a "good" reprint of any baseball Exhibit, and Ive never seen a reprint of any of the other types of exhibits ...........something is goofy about that excuse...

    +1 SGC

I want all my cards graded by PSA yet the ones that I have not pursued in getting graded are my exhibit cards and my n43 Allen and Ginter cards. The Allen and Ginter oversize cards fit nicely in a standard holder for SGC but come in a HUGE PSA holder....and the exhibits, well PSA does not grade them but I have a couple in SGC slabs....grrrr..... funny that baseball would be the slabbed cards where it is far more likely to have fakes......
